Monotowns Development Fund intends to provide funding for the project of the agroindustrial park in Ust-Katav. That was reported by the Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky. According to the Governor, the readiness of the project was confirmed by the First Deputy Director of the Fund Sergey Karpov during his visit to South Ural. “About 1.6bn RUB of federal funds, are aimed at the development of infrastructure”, outlined Boris Dubrovsky.
The investor of the project is Churilovo Agrocomplex. By 2018, it is planned to construct a greenhouse complex and a logistic centre. The project will provide 700 new work places. According to the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Irina Akbasheva, the Government of the South Ural now is to confirm its readiness to sign an agreement on co-financing: the funds from the federal budget will be allocated for the development of infrastructure. She also informed that the Ministry will apply for a co-financing to develop Ajigardak ski resort.
