Greenhouse complex in the Lotoshinsky area of the Moscow region will produce more than 50 k tons of vegetables annually

Construction of a greenhouse complex in the Lotoshinsky area of the Moscow region, with an area of 35 ha will start in May 2018. As reported by Alexander Shagiyev, Deputy Head of Lotoshinsky Administration, over 50 k tons of vegetables will be cultivated there per annum.

Earlier on, Head of the area Ekaterina Dolgasova informed that Helios Company intends to build the greenhouse complex for vegetable cultivation in the Lotoshinsky area. She explained that there is a shortfall of employment opportunities in the region, and establishing the new facility will allow to partially make up for that shortfall.

“The construction start of the greenhouse complex in the Lotoshinsky area is scheduled for May 2018. According to the project design, its area will total to 35 ha with annual capacity as of 52 k tons of vegetables. Lotoshino greenhouse complex will allow to create over 400 employment opportunities”, – as reported by Shagiyev.

As he said, the project cost is estimated at 8 billion RUB. At present, preparation of preliminary permission, and design and estimate documentation is underway.

According to the news agency, the greenhouse complex based on Dutch technologies will produce tomatoes, cucumbers and greenery.
