1.6bn RUB will be allocated for the construction of agropark in the Chelyabinsk region

The agroindustrial park will be built in Ust-Katav. The investor of the project is Churilovo Agrocomplex. The company intends to build a greenhouse complex and a logistic centre for storage and processing of agri-products. That was reported by the media-service of the Governor.

The project is supported by the Monotowns Development Fund. Approximately 1.6bn RUB of federal funds will be used for the development of infrastructure of the future agroindustrial park.

This ambitious project to be implemented in Ust-Katav will soon be completed, states the Governor Boris Dubrovsky.

The completion stage of the project was confirmed by the first deputy director of the Fund Sergey Karpov during his business visit to the South Ural.
– We decided to allocate funds and support the project for the construction of agroindustrial park in Ust-Katav. We spent much time and effort to generate the draft and then apply for fund, – says the regional head, – further we are to perform all obligations regarding the work places.

The commissioning is scheduled for 2018. The project will provide 700 work places.

According to the regional Deputy Minister of Economic Development Irina Akbasheva, the fund allocation is expected in Q4 this year. Now, the region is to confirm its readiness to sign a co-financing agreement.
